Full sun to partial shade with good drainage. Light shade will lengthen the flowering season. Flower colors include red, pink, yellow, blue, white and purple. Bloom time in late spring and early summer

Native to America, prefers moist soil and partial shade. Grows five to six feet tall. The plant has slender, white bottlebrush shaped flowers.
